Throughout your time with us, you will gain experience in a range of business support and workplace service areas.

    During this apprenticeship, we will support the candidate in receiving their Level 3 Business Administrator qualification via LDN Apprenticeships.

  • What you will do:

    • Provide a welcoming Reception service to all visitors and contractors, both face to face and via telephone during business hours, Monday to Friday
    • Creating an enjoyable space for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the office environment is kept tidy and presentable
    • Daily housekeeping checks and prompt reporting of issues
    • Coordinating ordering and storage of office consumables, in line with our Responsible Procurement & Partnerships Policy and Buying Social
    • Coordinating incoming and outgoing office post and couriers
    • In collaboration with the IT Apprentice, providing AV support to ensure meetings run smoothly
    • Helping support our pro-bono external room lending service, coordinating bookings and providing onsite support of refreshments
    • Working with the Senior Business Support Manager to coordinate a fire marshal and first aider rota
    • Weekly housekeeping reviews with the Senior Business Support Manager, proactive checks to ensure health and safety is maintained
    • Working in conjunction with our wider support officer team to assist with and cover their duties as required
    • Health and safety admin support, scheduling training invites and collating training records
    • Office event support, setting up catering and refreshments for all-staff lunches and inhouse socials
    • Coordinating Reception/Townhall AV displays, liaising with teams and uploading content via the cloud software
    • Develop and maintain strong working relationships across staff, stakeholders and the building team

    Experience

    No prior work experience is needed as this is an apprenticeship role. However, any experience in demonstrating the above skills from a work, education or voluntary experience is desirable.

    Qualifications

    Preferred: Five GCSE grades C - A* (4-9) or equivalent, including English and Maths. However, we are open to alternative qualifications and support will be given during the apprenticeship.

    • Location: We are a UK-based business in London, accessible to a number of public transport links. Given the requirements of the role, the working pattern covers Monday through to Friday onsite, during 9am-5.30pm.
