The Focus of Our Advice
We, as a firm providing focused independent advice, are required to ensure that you understand the nature of the advice that you will receive and the service we offer is appropriate. BSC provides focused independent advice on UK impact investments, as more fully explained in “Our Focus – UK Impact Investment”.
Conflicts of Interest
The FCA Handbook requires us to manage conflicts of interest between BSC and our clients.
We periodically assess conflicts that might arise in the provision of investment services to our clients, and have implemented management arrangements as appropriate. In the event that we are unable to manage a conflict, we are obliged to disclose this to you.
We disclose our conflicts of interest in general terms before undertaking any regulated activities for a client and at appropriate points throughout the engagement.
We will provide further details of our conflicts of interest policy, in a durable medium, to you on request.
Financial Reporting Council’s Stewardship Code
The FCA's Conduct of Business Sourcebook, requires us to include a statement on our website to share our commitment to the UK Financial Reporting Council's Stewardship Code (the "Code"), or, where we do not commit to the Code, our alternative investment strategy.
