Ellie Broad

Ellie is Co-founder and Community & Impact Manager at ImpactVC, a global community of 1,100+ impact-focused venture investors across 50+ countries, incubated by Better Society Capital. She leads ImpactVC's community programme, including events, content, partnerships and a volunteer network of VC professionals ('Chapters'), with a focus on connecting LPs and GPs and sharing frontier knowledge on investing for impact.

Before ImpactVC, Ellie worked at the Crisis Venture Studio, sourcing and supporting PropTech companies to build more social and affordable housing, and was one of the first hires at Zinc VC, which backs founders tackling society's biggest problems. She also completed the CFA Impact Investing (2024), and the Newton Venture Program (2021-22).

Outside work, most recently, Ellie spent a week in summer '26 volunteering with Refugee Community Kitchen in Calais; and supports the Common Ventures community as a mentor.
