George Brewster

George is a Government Engagement and Policy Officer at BSC, where he leads BSC's parliamentary engagement strategy to build support for the impact economy across Government and Parliament, and supports on policy development across the organisation's core priorities, including housing and homelessness, community energy, and Social Outcomes Partnerships.

He joined BSC in 2022 as an Investment Support Officer, where he coordinated the Foundations of Social Investment Programme alongside his wider responsibilities. Before joining BSC, George was a Private Secretary at the Department of Health and Social Care and an Admin Support Officer and Data Manager at UKHSA, as part of the UK's response to the Covid-19 pandemic. He also volunteered for six months at Citizens Advice Canterbury while studying for his degree in Politics and International Relations.
