About Jamila
Jamila is a Finance Manager, running and managing the yearend financial statements preparation and audit process, preparing the annual VAT return workings, budget consolidation, forecasting and liquidity workings. As well as preparing and reviewing monthly reconciliations and management accounts.
Jamila joined BSC in 2022 as a Finance Assistant, having previously worked as an Audit and Accounts Junior where she worked on accounts preparation, audit planning and audit fieldwork for a variety of clients in various industries.
Before this, Jamila spent time travelling through Asia and volunteering at a range of charitable organisations (e.g. Positive Living Community, De Karanganjar Koffieplantage, community cafes, as well as teaching English) and then went on to study Indonesian Language and Culture as part of the Darmasiswa Scholarship programme.
Jamila is a Chartered Certificied Accountant (ACCA qualified in June 2026) and holds an Economics degree from the University of Durham.
