About Douglas
Dougie is Managing Director of Impact Venture at Better Society Capital. He leads Better Society Capital’s venture investment programme, seeking to shape an ecosystem that can nurture and scale innovative ways of tackling social problems - by backing venture funds that invest in impactful startups, pushing the boundaries of impact practice in venture, and collaborating with others to amplify their work in the space.
Dougie is also a co-founder of ImpactVC, a global community of hundreds of venture capital investors coming together to learn about and accelerate the topic of impact in venture.
Previously, Dougie was a strategy consultant at the Boston Consulting Group. He has been a trustee or adviser to a number of social enterprises and charities.
