About Kieron

Kieron Boyle OBE is CEO and Director of 100x, the world’s largest impact venture accelerator, dedicated to scaling innovative solutions that improve the lives of billions. In 2024, he became Chair of the Impact Investing Institute, working to mobilise £1 trillion in investments to benefit both people and the planet.

From 2016 to 2023, Kieron was the Chief Executive of Guy's and St Thomas' Foundation, one of the world's oldest health foundations. Through this period, the foundation developed some of the UK’s most innovative and impactful alliances to reduce health inequalities, as well as transformed its £1 billion investment arm into one of Europe's leading health impact investors. Kieron was an early leader in impact investing, having joined Guy’s & St Thomas’ from the Cabinet Office, where he led the UK government’s efforts on social innovation and was the key architect, starting in 2012, of the national strategy to make the UK a global hub for impact investing. That catalytic work included the creation of Better Society Capital; developing the Government Outcomes Lab; and establishing the Global Steering Group on Impact Investment.

Before joining the Cabinet Office, Kieron served in No.10 Downing Street, the Department for Business, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the Prime Minister’s Strategy Unit. He started his career as a strategy consultant at The Boston Consulting Group in New York.

Kieron is a Director of the London School of Economics Marshall Institute and a Governor of the Southbank Centre. He chairs LIPH — a multi-trillion dollar global alliance of institutional investors working to improve people's health — and sits on the IPPR cross-party Commission into Health and Prosperity.
