About Mya

Mya joined the team in March 2022 as an Investment Manager, her key responsibilities consist of managing and delivering internal and external stakeholder reporting for SBSI, contributing to research projects to inform positioning and decision-making within SBSI and creating and maintaining a comparables database.

Prior to joining Big Society Capital, Mya was previously in the Strategy team at the British Business Bank, where she was involved in a variety of key projects and publications such as diversity within entrepreneurship, UK VC returns, international engagement and social impact investing. Most notably, she was the VC industry lead for the Investing in Women Code on behalf of government, seeking to remove the barriers faced by female and historically underpresented founders within access to finance.
