The Fund provides small, low interest loans to community organisations in areas of high deprivation to pay for renewable energy assets and implement energy efficient measures. The Fund will lend up to 50% of the value of a project, up to a maximum of £50,000.

The community energy assets developed aims to deliver consistent income for 20-25 years, and surpluses generated will be re-invested in community projects.
