Juan Camilo Chipatecua

Juan joined Better Society Capital in November 2021 as a Financial Performance Manager. He is responsible for overseeing and supporting the delivery of our financial performance activities, ensuring effective engagement with asset class teams and with BSC’s investment governance bodies. This includes activities such as portfolio forecasting, asset allocation, portfolio risk management and ensuring the efficacy of our end-to-end investment process.

Prior to joining the team, Juan worked at Boster Group, a London-based independent consultancy that creates brand partnerships for global corporations, foundations and cultural institutions. Before that he worked at the largest pension fund in Colombia as an Equity Research Analyst, evaluating and producing investment recommendations across six industry sectors in Latin America, including Financial Institutions, Utilities, and Oil & Gas.

Juan holds an MBA from Oxford University and BSc/MSc degrees in Industrial Engineering
